USA: Students not eager to redistribute GPA scores - but taxing rich ok

Visual examples that help to point out irony are one of my favorite things in life. Take, for example these Obama-maniac gullible liberal students - you have to love them. They can't see the irony is not wanting to give their excess pass marks to students who haven't earned them (because, well, they earned their good grades!), but think it's just dandy to tax the rich excessively as they have the money to pay (and seemingly didn't earn it fairly). It's human nature to be selfish and to want what others have- even though you yourself have not earned it. That’s why those who stand to receive entitlements will almost always vote for those who promise to take the wealth from those who work hard, take risks, and who have earned it and redistribute it to those who have not. Therefore, many students who have not yet entered the adult world and have not yet been penalized for doing well financially do not understand this concept is wrong. If you take away incentives for hard work and replace it with penalties that remove the reward, you will simply develop a society of people who don’t feel it is worth it to even try anymore.

The College Republicans at the University of California-Merced asked fellow students, who support raising taxes on the rich, if they would be willing to redistribute their GPAs. They didn’t think it’s a good idea because they earned their grades. But, I bet if they'd asked the guys who were failing if it was a good idea then I'm sure the answer would be YES!
