You know you're in trouble when you need Oprah to ra-ra you up some support! Ms Winfrey eventually decided to show how racist she is by publicly endorsing Mr Hope-n-Changey Obama in 2008. Since then she's been deathly quiet about her man, apart from appearing on the CNN's Piers Morgan show a few weeks back. On the show she was asked what she thought of the job Obama had done so far and she answered that she couldn't comment as she hadn't been watching him closely enough to see what kind of a job he's been doing! How's that for a BS answer?? I thought she was an astute business woman, because that answer doesn't quite gel with me. In any case, she's decided that, even though her newly launched OWN channel is TANKING big time and no one really cares about her anymore, she still needs to prop up her old Commie buddy, calling for people to start respecting him. Where was she when George Bush was being publicly ridiculed by the MSM? Ms Winfrey needs to learn that just because she's made billions off other people's backs, she doesn't have that much clout over who we need to start respecting. Respect has to be earned - or hasn't she taken advice from some of her touchy-feely guests over the years?Oprah called on President Obama's critics on Friday to
“show some level of respect.” "I feel that everybody has a learning curve, and I feel that the reason why I was willing to step out for him was because I believed in his integrity and I believed in his heart," the influential TV host said on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” in Chicago.
Of the negative mood of the country, Oprah added, “I think everybody complaining ought to try it for once.”
She said the presidency is a position that “holds a sense of authority and governance over us all,” and that “even if you’re not in support of his policies, there needs to be a certain level of respect.”
