Kelly and O’Reilly: The Dayton PD May as Well Dump the Test and Have a Lottery to Hire New Cops

As I previously blogged, the USA DoJ have instructed the Dayton Police Department to lower their scores on their entrance exams as not enough minorities were passing. Here is a clip from Fox News where they discuss how the local representative of the NAACP stated that he didn't agree with this, and that the best candidate should get the job (which is shocking in itself, as the NAACP is the most racist organisation going). True to form, the national NAACP quickly stepped in and backed the government stance, saying they agree with Holder and Obama (huge surprise there). One can only speculate that the local rep. was rapped severely over his knuckles for his backward view - that the best and brightest candidates making it into the police force is not a requirement - the only requirement should be that their skin color is the right shade. The other conclusion to make is that the USA government believes that African Americans and Hispanics really are too stupid to pass a test on their own merit.....
